You don’t need ANY of the following:

  • Crazy, complicated exercises that make you feel dumb and get you hurt

  • HIIT cardio that leaves you gasping for air and looking for a bucket to puke

  • Restrictive, flavorless diets that make you hate life

  • Trendy, branded workouts like CrossFit®, OrangeTheory®, or Hyrox®

  • Expensive recovery treatments like cold plunges and saunas

What you DO NEED is to commit yourself to some basic weight training and a balanced eating plan for at least 8 weeks to see significant results.

I want to bring the fitness industry back down to Planet Earth, and that’s what the Muscle Distilled program and Fantastic 5 recipes are all about.

You Don’t Have To Work So Hard… REALLY.

I know the BS the fitness industry pushes. Hell, as an editor for the top fitness publications for more than 20 years, I used to push it! I didn’t know it at the time, but I got suckered by a lot of fads and gimmicks and nonsense, and if I’ve learned one thing about transforming your body through the years, it’s this:

It’s much, MUCH EASIER than you think.

What Is The Muscle Distilled Program?

Muscle Distilled is an 8-week workout plan designed to make getting in the best shape of your life as simple as possible with no frills and no extras. It’s the minimum effective dose you need to see outstanding results.

Here’s what you get:

  • An 8-week long upper-lower workout split with sessions that take UNDER 1 hour to complete. You can train as little as 3 days per week. NO ONE needs more training than that to get ripped.

  • Simple, joint-friendly exercises you can master fast. NO back squats. NO bench presses. NO deadlifts… NO INJURIES! Set PR’s on every lift and hit numbers you never dreamed of—pain-free!

  • Detailed video demonstrations of every exercise in the program (50+ moves), including form pointers so you know EXACTLY what to do to train SAFE and MAXIMIZE results.

  • Exercise SUBSTITUTIONS to accommodate injuries or at-home training with minimal equipment. Make gains using a barbell, dumbbells, and bands, if that’s all you’ve got.

  • Guidelines on warming up, CARDIO, and scheduling your training week, so you NEVER overtrain and don’t leave results to chance.

What is Fantastic 5?

Fantastic 5 is a nutrition guide and recipe book that shows you how to set up your eating to gain muscle, lose fat, or recomp your body (gain muscle while losing fat), and provides recipes to cover five full days of eating—enough to get you through a busy Monday through Friday work week.

The recipes are specially designed to be healthy, delicious, AND take only minutes to make.

NO weird, expensive, hard-to-find ingredients!

Here’s what you get:

  • Formulas to calculate calories and macros for muscle gain, fat loss, and maintenance.

  • A tutorial on how to eyeball portions so you DON’T have to count calories if you prefer not to.

  • 5 days’ worth of breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. That’s 15 meals, TOTAL (along with a few healthy desserts as a bonus).

  • A variety of cuisine (Asian, Mexican, Italian, and more) to suit any mood or craving. Kids will LOVE the recipes, as well as people in your life who aren’t on a diet!

  • Recipes for high-protein pepperoni pizza, low-fat SMASH BURGERS, ginger pear crunch cereal, breakfast quesadillas, Mediterranean bean salad, loaded baked potato, and more!

  • Pictures of each recipe so you can see how they’ll turn out, and calorie/macro counts to see how they can fit into your diet.

  • Recipes average only 6 ingredients and 18 minutes of prep time! So you have the time and energy to make them even after a long work day.

  • Low-carb, low-fat, plant-based, non-dairy, gluten-free, and raw options.

Here’s what you WON’T get:

  • A COOKIE-CUTTER program like you’d get in a big box exercise class.

  • Hours of BORING cardio.

  • Workouts that have you RACING the clock and running all over a crowded gym.

  • Puking from TOO MUCH intensity.

  • WODs, acrobatics, circus tricks, and ego lifts that waste time and risk accidents.

  • JUNK VOLUME that keeps you in the gym all day.

  • The “Big 3.” Because you don’t need to do the powerlifts to be BULL STRONG.

  • An overcomplicated warmup routine that leaves you CASHED OUT before the workout even begins.

  • Goofy, frou frou, so-called “FUNCTIONAL” exercises that don’t change a thing.

  • Bland, flavorless “health food.” (There’s ONLY 1 CHICKEN breast recipe in the whole book.)

  • Weird ingredients you can’t find, that cost a fortune, or that you’ll only use for one recipe ([cough] turmeric!)

  • Tofu! There’s not one recipe in Fantastic 5 that calls for it.

When In Doubt, Do LESS

Look, I know what you want.

I’ve worked in fitness more than two decades, and I’ve been training myself for longer than that. I’ve tried every workout and diet that’s come down the pike and, like you, I wish I had saved myself the time, money, and effort.

You want workouts with basic exercises that you can do well—without needing a trainer to constantly correct your form.

You want to eat food you enjoy—not endless chicken breasts and broccoli you’ll never sustain.

You want the shortest, straightest path to a body that turns heads—and one you can hold on to long after beach vacations are over.

  • A great body isn’t just for genetic freak athletes…

  • It doesn’t have to be an obsession…

  • It isn’t something you can only build when you’re young…

  • It doesn’t require a special diet or monk-like discipline…

  • You can get it in WEEKS and keep it FOREVER.

Being Ripped Is NOT An Exclusive Club

Muscle Distilled and Fantastic 5 are perfect for people who have become resigned to thinking that being swole or diced isn’t in their DNA.

If you’ve never been called “big guy” or “baddie,” despite all the hard work you’ve put in—and that PISSES YOU OFF—you’ve come to the right place.

Maybe you’ve been going to the gym for years but people never seem to notice. Or you just couldn’t stay healthy long enough to see results, because the exercises you were doing always caused something in your body to break down.

I was there too.

I was that skinny kid people laughed at. I was 6’4” by the end of high school, but at 165 pounds, I looked like a stork.

When I was in college and bought my first protein powder, my friends snickered and told me I’d need a “side of steroids to go with it.

A girl I liked saw me plugging away in the gym and told me she thought it was “cute” that I was working out now. Not that I was cute; it was cute. As in, “Have fun with your little weights.”

I was a nerd boy who had never been an athlete, so transforming myself into a 230-pound man who clearly lifts heavy seemed like a joke—to myself as well as others.

Only it wasn’t a joke. I was dead serious, and—eventually—it all came true. Until it started to fall apart.

When I was 40, years of heavy barbell training were taking their toll. The exercises that got me big were now getting me hurt. But if I couldn’t do them anymore… what COULD I do?

I revamped my training with exercises that fit MY body, rather than fitting my body to the exercises. Since then, I’ve made even better progress—in my 40s—than I made in my 20s, and I’m still setting PR’s.

It’s NOT your genetics that are holding you back.

Nor is it the mileage on your body.

It’s your APPROACH that has to change.

Muscle Distilled and Fantastic 5 show the path that can get ANYONE big and lean in record time.

Who Are Muscle Distilled and
Fantastic 5 For?

  • Men and women who feel stuck with their body transformation goals.

  • Busy professionals who don’t have time to devote their lives to fitness.

  • Ex-athletes, heavy lifters, and people over 40 who have beat-up joints.

  • People who HATE fitness classes and want workouts that are customized and self-paced.

  • Dieters burned out on diets and health food.

  • Those who train at a chain gym like Planet Fitness or Gold’s and have access to barbells, dumbbells, and common exercise machines—or, train at home with free weights and bands.

  • People who want to look like Greek gods and warrior princesses! (With the least possible effort.)

  • Men and women who want to CRUSH PR’s and get stronger than they’ve ever been—safely and pain-free.

Who Are They NOT For?

  • Genetic FREAKS who just want to crush themselves in the gym.

  • Wannabe bodybuilders who train 7 days a week.

  • Powerlifters who define gains only by the squat, bench, and deadlift.

  • People with short attention spans who want a new workout every day.

  • Those who follow extreme or restrictive cult diets.

  • Those who want a crash diet/quick fix.

My Clients

"I gained two inches on my chest, one inch on my shoulders, and three-quarters of an inch on my arms while my waist stayed the same!"
– Keith F., orthopedic surgical sales rep, Arlington, VA

“I applied for Sean’s transformation after several years of training with no real results to show for it. I’ve tried more programs and diets than I can remember. Sean’s program helped me get it together and get great results in a short amount of time. The workouts were great—challenging but without leaving me feeling destroyed. The diet was simple to follow and not restrictive at all. But the best part for me was having Sean on hand to answer all my questions when I needed it. I can’t thank him enough.”

– Mark C., Whitby, North Yorkshire, England

“I went from 193 to 178 pounds in 12 weeks. I got to 9% body fat and put 30 pounds on my squat and an incredible 65 pounds on my deadlift, finally hitting 405 pounds. I cannot say enough how pleased I am with the results. And I did no cardio whatsoever other than trying to walk around as much as possible on the weekends.”

– Tyler S., high school baseball coach, Ocean Isle Beach, N.C.

“I can’t speak highly enough about Sean’s methodology. He helped propel me from a skinny-fat sad ass to a nationally-ranked bad ass—according to my nephew, anyway! When I met Sean, I was a guy who could barely squat his own bodyweight. Less than a year later, I was a veteran of the North American Strongman National Championships. I’m athletically average. I’m not a genetic specimen. I was a hairdresser in Manhattan. So if Sean could help turn me into a National Championship competitor, what can he do for you?”

– Jeb Stuart Johnston, nutrition and mindset coach, Charleston, SC.

“I got a Dexa scan before starting the workouts. After 4 weeks of training with Sean, I got the scan again and I was down 3% body fat.”

– Priyanka P., cybersecurity consultant,
Austin, TX

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I receive Muscle Distilled and Fantastic 5? Are they shipped to me?

No, both are ebooks in a PDF format that you can download immediately. Right after purchase you will get an email with a link to download. The whole process takes only a couple of minutes.

How many times do I have to work out per week on Muscle Distilled?

There are a few options. If you want to work out three days per week, you can do a three-day split—for example, upper body on Monday, lower body Wednesday, and upper body again Friday. The next week, you’d do lower, upper, lower.

You can also do a four-day split (upper, lower, rest, upper, lower, rest, rest), or a five-day split (upper, lower, rest, upper, lower, rest, upper). The fewer workouts you do per week, the longer the program will take, but you can schedule it any way you need to.

How long do the Muscle Distilled workouts take?

Most people will probably average 45 minutes per session. The program consists of two four-week blocks, and the first four weeks serve as a sort of introduction. The second block adds some sets and exercises, so the second round of workouts take a bit longer, but none should take more than an hour.

I have a bad shoulder/back/knee. Can I still do the Muscle Distilled workouts?

Yes. The workouts all include different options for exercises, so if you know that one lift bothers some part of your body, you’ll have other lifts to choose from that will accomplish the same basic training effect without stressing that injured area. Say a front squat hurts your knees. You can substitute a landmine squat or leg press instead. The program shows you how to do that.

I work out at home and don’t have much equipment. Can I do the Muscle Distilled program?

All you need is an adjustable bench, a range of dumbbells, a barbell and some plates, exercise bands, and a chinup bar or other sturdy structure to do chinups on or to attach bands to. Any commercial gym can supply this equipment, and, for the best results, I suggest you train in one, but you can absolutely train at home if you have the aforementioned tools (most of which aren’t expensive).

Do the Fantastic 5 Recipes include gluten-free options?

Yes!

Will my family like the Fantastic 5 recipes? They don’t eat high-protein or low-carb.

Yes. The Fantastic 5 recipes are not traditional health food. They’re healthy, to be sure—most of them are high in protein and low or moderate in fat and carbs—but they’re not that different from common foods that we all grew up on and enjoy. The main difference is the quality of the ingredients. I’ve found ways to cut fat and add protein to conventional recipes without reducing flavor or adding any prep time.

That’s the other thing. Not only will you get delicious food that the whole family can enjoy while supporting your goals, making it all is a breeze.

You’re very unlikely to stick to an eating regimen that requires specialized foods that are inconvenient to get and to make. Fantastic 5 doesn’t require any weirdo ingredients or a whole slew of pots and pans. The meals are as simple and quick to make as anything you’re used to eating, and maybe even simpler.

I follow a [insert name here] diet. Will the Fantastic 5 recipes work for that?

There are recipes in the book that would be permitted on just about any diet, but most are high in protein and have low to moderate fat or carbs. This is what research shows is best for building muscle and getting lean, and it works great for overall health. All weight-loss diets work by creating a calorie deficit, regardless if they’re low in carbs or fat, or they restrict some other nutrient, so there’s no fat-burning advantage to following one branded diet over another.

If you’ve been following a trendy diet like Carnivore or Paleo, the Fantastic 5 recipes may not be for you, but I would ask you to keep an open mind and try them. If you’re happy with the diet you’re on, why are you looking for a nutrition program anyway? If you’re ready for a change, you’re ready for Fantastic 5.
